It's that time of the year again, we need to vote to seat our new board of directors. All current members with league curling privileges (everyone but Associate and Junior members) are eligible and encouraged to vote.
The Process
- Per our Bylaws, the Nominations Committee's slate of nominees was posted in the Clubroom before March 10th.
- Since there were no additional nominations, which are due to the club's Secretary by March 20th per our Bylaws, the nominations are closed.
- These are the only candidates eligible for election to our Board, so the voting can begin immediately.
- Please don't delay, your vote will help us to ensure we have quorum (at least half of eligible voters plus one) for this topic.
The Vote
As posted in the clubroom and announced in The Sheet, the following three curlers have been nominated as prospective board members, for a three-year term, beginning with the 2025-26 season:
Erin Boyd
Katie Gierach
Thom Kieffer
Additionally, the following curler has been nominated as prospective board member, for a one-year term, beginning with the 2025-26 season:
Rachel Koebel
Votes MUST BE RECEIVED prior to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, April 15th.
Voting Options
- Preferred method: Log in to your WCC member account, click here, select "Approve" or "Reject", and then click the Vote button. You can also find this page by clicking on "Club Voting" in the Member Menu (login required) on our website.
- If you have any trouble, you may alternatively email vote@wauwatosacurlingclub.com with your name and "Approve" or "Reject" to submit your vote.
Note that each member's vote will be counted once and once only. If multiple votes are submitted, the first vote received either from the online voting option or your officially registered club email will be accepted as your final vote.
