Adaptive curling consists of pushing granite stones down a sheet of ice from a standing or sitting (wheelchair) position using a “pusher” stick.

2026 Ladies Intraclub Bonspiel
The Ladies Interclub is back as the new home of the All American Event!
Join us Friday & Saturday January 9th and 10th for three 6-end games of fun, probably some hostility (it was the ice's fault!) and, of course, good food and rapport.
2026 Adaptive Open Bonspiel
Wauwatosa Curling Club is excited to host its first ever open adaptive bonspiel for any curler with any form of disability and any skill level. You can come with a teammate. If you do not have a teammate then we will do our best to pair you up with a curler with similar abilities. The bonspiel is being funded by a grant from Move United so it is free to all curlers but we are asking for a $20 donation (if able) from any non-curler that may come and help support the curlers during the event. Bonspiel will include open ice time on Friday before first draws and then dinner Friday night. On Saturday there will be a continental breakfast, lunch and dinner. Finals will be Saturday at 5 PM with dinner and awards afterwards.
This is meant to be a fun bonspiel to share the love of curling with the adaptive community but also with some structured competition included. About the Wauwatosa Curling Club
The Wauwatosa Curling Club is a friendly, 100%volunteer-operated club with deep roots in the Wauwatosa community. Our first game was played in 1921 in a shed on Stickney Avenue, just south of where Wauwatosa’s City Hall now stands. In 1925, that same shed was moved to what is now Hart Park, where curling continued until for nearly two decades. In 1941, the Club began play in its current home, the Muellner Building.
Renovated in 2024, the Wauwatosa Curling Club features four sheets of ice where members of all ages and skill levels come together to learn, compete, and socialize. We’re dedicated to fostering good sportsmanship, friendship, and a welcoming atmosphere, whether you’re sliding your very first stone or a seasoned bonspiel pro. The ice may be cold, but the community here is warm, and we’re proud to carry on more than a century of curling tradition in Milwaukee county.
