The following leagues are available at the Wauwatosa Curling Club:
5 & Under Open (Rotating Teams) - First Half, Sunday Mornings

An open event for all regular members with 5 or less years of curling experience. Teams are formed weekly prior to games from those having signed up. Points will be kept for individual players. All are welcome even if you can't attend weekly. Emphasis is on having fun & improving skills. You should sign up so your name is on the weekly e-mail list for this event. 5 & Under Open (Teams) - Second Half, Sunday Mornings

Open to members with five or less years of curling experience. Members are encouraged to sign up as a team, but may sign up individually as well to be placed on a team. Sundays at 11:15am starting in January. 8-end games, competitive league with a full round robin and 4 team playoff. Winning team will qualify for the Tosa 5 & Under Bonspiel for the following year (pending eligibility of team members). Limited to 10 teams. For more information, contact Jessica Drouillard.
Daytime Open - All Season, Wednesday Mornings
Dinsmoor Open - Second Half, Thursdays

An Open Event on Thursdays during the second half of the season, where any regular member, male or female, may play in any position. Teams made up voluntarily. Event Committee will attempt to form teams from those individuals not on a team who sign up for this event. Maximum of 27 Teams. For more information contact Matt or Dawn Majewski.
Dunlop Mixed - First Half, Fridays

The Dunlop is an eight end, non-rated mixed event on Friday nights during the first half of the season. Four-on-four teams with two men and two women on each team. You can sign up as a team, partial team, couple, or individual. Due to the format, not all individuals that sign up may not fit on a team, as an equal number of men and women are required. Early Open - All Season, Thursday Afternoons

A twice-monthly open event for ALL curlers able to curl at 4:15 on Thursdays. Six-end games are followed by socializing and an optional catered dinner. Sign up as an individual or team. Limited to ten teams but unlimited coaches, cheerleaders, etc. are welcome. Optional dinners are $20/dinner or $200 during registration (based on an 11 week season). French Mixed Doubles, First Half, Saturday Mornings

Teams are made up of mixed pairs for this fast paced 90-minute 8-end game. We start at 9:00 am on Saturday mornings and will be off the ice with plenty of time to enjoy the rest of your Saturday. If you’ve never played Mixed Doubles before, you’re in store for a fun and fast game that will get your heart pumping, help you make quick strategy decisions and work over your 4 ft. game. All experience levels welcome. This will be an 8-team 7-week league that plays in the first half of the curling season. Sign up as an individual or as a team, but priority will be given to full teams, singles will be accommodated as possible. For more information contact Ali Wangard.
High Noon Open - All season, Tuesdays at Noon

This is an open, unrated event with individual scoring. Points are awarded for games won, ends won, and points scored. Each curler's weekly points are accumulated as the season progresses. New teams are formed each week. The winner and runner-up will be honored with their names inscribed on a nifty trophy. We will play 6 ends and throw 8 stones per end, sweeping only after the hog line. This very social league is scheduled for Noon on Tuesdays, and offers fun, camaraderie, and a great way to get some valuable ice time. Please contact Steve Stoehr with questions.
Mullarkey Open - Second Half Fridays

An open event for all regular members scheduled on Fridays during the second half of the season. Teams are formed weekly prior to 6:30 (6 end games) from those having signed up by 4PM Thursday that week (8:00 draw if necessary). Points will be kept for individual players. "Playoff" among top 8 players to determine pins. All are welcome even if you can't attend weekly. Emphasis is on having fun & improving skills. Tailgate & Sunday Funday (Open) - All Season, Sunday Mornings

Sunday Fundays are back at the club and we are ready to make Sunday the best day of the week!
We kick things off at 9am with The Tailgate. Get your team jerseys out and enjoy 8 ends of Open curling as 9 teams compete for a spot into the Valentine Open Bonspiel. Each week one team will prepare a tailgate lunch for the league to enjoy during football, futbol and board games. In February the Tailgate transforms into the Sunday Funday Open. Same format, same time, but new teams!
For both leagues, sign up as an individual, pair, threesome or full team. Full Team registrations take preference. 5&U eligible curlers are encouraged to register for the 5&U, especially curlers with 2 years or less experience. WCC Championship Open - Second Half, Wednesdays

Competitive open event where members MUST form their own teams – men, women, or any combination. Open to the first 24 teams to register and will follow a bonspiel format with four events. Pins will be awarded in four events and 1st event winners’ names will be engraved on a trophy. For more information contact Peter Muller.

Balmoral (Men) - Second Half, Mondays

All member men's rated club event curled in February and March on Mondays. Teams are formed by the Games Committee from regular members requesting participation through online registration. FAME (Men) - All Season, Friday Afternoons

Friday Afternoon Men's Event (FAME). This is a Two on Two, 8 end game, no sweeping event. Games are played on selected Friday afternoons starting at 3:15 PM, November through March. Games take about 1.5 hours. Form your team or be assigned by the committee. Cap at 10 teams- two teams will have a by per week but should make themselves available to sub. Kearney (Men) - Mid-Season Mondays

An all member men's rated event starting after the Kilian-Northope and played on Mondays. Consists of rated teams formed by Skip’s draft of Thirds, Seconds and Leads. Kilian Nelthorpe (Men) - First Half, Mondays & Wednesdays

An all member men's rated club event starting the curling season. Play is on Mondays and Wednesdays. Consists of a rated teams formed by Skip’s draft of Thirds, Seconds and Leads. MacKenzie (Men) - Mid-Season, Wednesdays

Teams made up voluntarily by regular men's members. Participants can sign up individually or as a partial rink, and, if there are openings, will be welcomed into the event. A non-rated event that determines club qualifiers for the Wauwatosa Men's Invitational Bonspiel, traditionally held in March. Qualification rules vary as the number of participants, divisions, and teams change, but will be provided to the participants prior to the start of the event. Senior Men’s WISCA (Men) - All Season, Days TBD
Men ages 55 and older are eligible to play. Daytime senior curling at Wauwatosa consists mainly of WISCA event curling which can take place at any of ten Wisconsin clubs and the Chicago Curling Club. The WISCA clubs are Arlington, Blackhawk (Janesville), Chicago, Kettle-Moraine, Madison, Milwaukee, Pardeeville, Portage, Poynette, Racine, and Wauwatosa. Wauwatosa teams are made up from all those interested. Everyone is welcome and will be put on a team. Games are during the week, starting at 10 a.m. and are followed by lunch at the host club. Wauwatosa Granites' Championship (Women) - Mid-Season, Tuesdays

An all women's open member event, where teams can be formed voluntarily, or members can sign up as a partial rink or individuals and the league chair will help form teams. A non-rated event playing eight end games starting in December through February. A round-robin format with a playoff as needed based on league size. For more information contact Katie Moorhead.
Daytime Interclub (Women) - All Season, Days TBD

Women's event. Four Monday mornings, three are friendly with teams made up on the morning, one six-end game followed by lunch. The fourth (held in March) is The Challenge - 2 teams from each club, 3 4-end games playing teams from other clubs (Milwaukee, Kettle Moraine and Racine) followed by lunch and awarding of the cup to the winning club.
Holly Christman (Women) - Second Half, Tuesdays

Women's event during the second half of the curling season. Trophy presented in 1986 by the Wauwatosa Twilighters. Teams made up by a Skip draw. Eight end games, unless specified by League Chair. Rated Event. Rules as stated in the Rules Section. For more information contact Katie Moorhead.
Martha Wolz (Women) - First Half, Tuesdays

Women's event that starts off the curling season. Trophy presented in 1988 by Martha Wolz. Teams made up by either Games Committee or a Skip draw. Games will be six ends. Rules as stated in the Rules Section. Rated Event. For more information contact Katie Moorhead.
Junior Curling - All Season
A Junior Curling program is available to both boys and girls ages 8 and older who are physically capable of handling the stones (about 42 lbs.) We also have Little Rocks for younger children not yet able to handle full-size rocks. For more information contact Mike Elwing.
