As an eligible charitable organization, the club has registered with AmazonSmile. The board has voted to allocate any monies raised via AmazonSmile to a fund for new rocks.
What is AmazonSmile?
AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products and prices as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you go to smile.amazon.com, instead of amazon.com, Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the charitable organization of your choice (the WCC, of course!)
How do I get started?
Go to smile.amazon.com on your desktop computer (purchases from amazon.com or the Amazon app do not qualify) and select the club as your charitable organization of choice. You can also just click here.

Is there any cost to either me or the club?
No and no. All you have to do is the one-time setup and then remember to go to smile.amazon.com to do your shopping.
Will the club's AmazonSmile administrator get to see who I am or what I purchase at AmazonSmile?
Nope, never. And what the heck are you buying on Amazon? ;)
Will this completely fund our new rocks?
Probably not even close, but we're taking advantage of every possible opportunity. This is just one of many initiatives that the board will be considering to raise funds for future club improvements.
What's the downside?
For you personally, there really isn't one other than a small change in habit—remembering to go to smile.amazon.com instead of amazon.com.
For the club, the biggest potential downside reported by other charitable organizations is what has been called slacktivism — slacker activism that leads to a feeling that someone has done their part by doing only the easiest most passive thing possible. Please just keep in mind that this is only one small thing you can do to support our club, and we'll be just fine.
